21-22 January 2006
SAA organized a Mediated Learning Experiences Workshop conducted by Ms. Foo Siang Mun, a certified trainer in the Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment Programme. There were 33 participants including teachers, parents and educators from other NGOs like PERKATA, PIBAKAT, 1st Baptish Church and PIBAKIS from Miri.

SAA was invited to hold an exhibition at Kuching Waterfront during the Love Our Children Charity Run organized by Water Genesis Sdn Bhd.

13-15 June 2006
Father Adam & Sister Chin, on the invitation of the Growth Group from the Catholic Church, provided a 3-day art & craft training session for parents and teachers of SAA.

20-22 July 2006
SAA invited Mr. Wong Shyh Shyan from Sen-J Sensory Integration Research Centre, Sibu to provide a 3-day training for parents on DIY Sensory Integration Programme.

10 September 2006
SAA 3rd Charity Food Fair at Civic Centre Kuching was held form 8am to 1pm . The event was officiated by YB Tuan Haji Fadillah Bin Yusof. About 70 stalls participated in the food sale. A total of RM 141, 267.00 was collected.

17 January 2007
SAA invited Mr. Lim Boon Hock to give a talk on Parent Support for the parents at SAA centre. He is the vice-chairman for Wings Melaka and he has completed his PhD reseach at Wings Melaka with a scholarship awarded from Deakin University in Melbourne.

Mr Chew Kak Khoon from Maybank invited SAA to set up a stall and educational exhibition at Maybank Nex2U Neighbourhood Carnival to create public awareness.

25-27 May 2007
SAA was invited to set up a food stall and educational exhibition at Kids Planet Art Festival 2007 at Permata Car Park Exhibition Hall to create public awareness on autism.

16 –17 June 2007
Mr. Wong Shyh Shyan from SI World at PJ conducted a 2-day Sensory Integration training for 35 teachers and parents of SAA centre.

30 September 2007
KAA 4th Charity Food Fair was held at Kuching Civic Centre. 74 stalls participated in this event and successfully raised RM132,414.00 in total.

3 November 2007
KAA set up an exhibition booth at Kuching Waterfront for the “ Hari Bersama Kanak-Kanak Istimewa” event.

11 November 2007
The Kuching Biker Group organized The 1111 Charity Ride at Bau to raise fund for the new educational centre for Kuching Autistic Association. The event successfully raised RM56,693 for KAA.

10 -14 January 2008
Mr Wong Shyh Shyan from SI World conducted a 2-day SI assessment for all the students at KAA centre. He also conducted a 2-day intensive training for KAA teachers and parents.

30 March 2008
The management of Mederka Palace Hotel invited KAA to set up an exhibition during their 10th Anniversary Charity Sales.

5 & 6 June 2008
KAA invited Dr. Sylvia Diehl and Ms Amanda Keating from the University of Florida to conduct a 2-day seminar on Teaching Children with Autism for KAA teachers and parents at KAA centre.

29 June 2008
KAA organized the 5th Charity Food Fair at Kuching Civic Centre. A total of 84 stalls participated in this food fair. A total of RM152,726.63 was collected.

27 July 2008
The Lim family organized KAA Charity Fund Raising cum Anime Characters for KAA new building fund.

3 August 2008
Ms Zhang Su Ling organized a Charity Solo Singing at the Auditorium of Kuching Old Court House building to raise fund for KAA new building and create public awareness on autism.

20 December 2008
Kuching Mountain Bikers’ Group organized a Jungle Bell Musical Show at Matang Family Park to raise fund for KAA and Kuching Spinal Cord Injuries Association.

3 March 2009
Earth filling ceremony at Batu Kawa new centre site. The total cost of earth filling is RM 267,363.00.

19 August 2009
KAA jointly organized the Sarawak Charity Gala Dinner with The Cutting Edge Salon, Lifestyle Resources and The Borneo Post to raise fund for KAA new building at Jalan Batu Kawa. The dinner was held at Four Points by Sheraton Kuching.

23 August 2009
A talk on Diagnosis and Treatment for Autism by Dr. Shan Ong from Australia was held at KAA centre. About 40 parents, teachers and caregivers attended this talk.

28 June 2009
KAA organized the 6th Charity Food Fair at Kuching Civic Centre for operating and KAA new building fund. A total of 90 stalls participated in the event and the collection as at 30 October 2009 is RM177,293.00.
