Aims of SAA Resource and Educational Centre

  1. Acts as a resource centre where parents and teachers of autistic children can look up reading materials and audio-visual aids on autism and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) method. Those who are from outstation can request for these resources to be sent to them.
  2. Provides a conducive atmosphere where autistic and hyperactive children can study using ABA, a method that has been proven to be effective, not only in the United States but also in Malaysia.
  3. Provides training facilities to parents and teachers on ABA and those from outstation can acquire the necessary training to enable them to implement the programme when they go back.
  4. Prepares children who are mildly autistic with the necessary skills to be integrated into mainstream education.
